EXTENDED COVERAGE
Flexibility is the key to CPS. Extended
Coverage warranty lets you custom-fit
coverage to your needs, giving you a fixed
cost for machine repairs over a given period
of time. Whether you work in a
severe-service operation or just want to
spread the risk of doing business, Extended
Coverage warranty is a great way to protect
your cash flow. An Extended Coverage
warranty also travels well because it’s
backed by the John Deere Construction &
Forestry Company and honored by all John
Deere Construction & Forestry Dealers.
PLANNED MAINTENANCE AGREEMENTS
Keeping you up and running and minimizing
downtime is the essence of CPS and the
ultimate goal of the John Deere Construction
& Forestry Company. The first step is
ensuring critical maintenance work is done
on schedule. Planned Maintenance helps
protect you from the expense and stress of
catastrophic failures, while letting you
avoid waste-disposal hassles so you can
focus on your job. Onsite Planned
Maintenance service is performed where and
when you need it.
FLUID ANALYSIS
Fluid Analysis aims to drastically reduce
catastrophic downtime, extend drain
intervals, and save you money. It’s an
important part of Customer Personal Service
when packaged with an Extended Coverage
warranty and a Planned Maintenance
Agreement. Fluid Analysis is a proactive
approach to machine maintenance that gives
you data on all your machine’s major
components in time to take action.
CUSTOMER PERSONAL SERVICE ONLINE
CPS Online is a pathway to the most precious
commodity of all – information. It’s a
secured Website that links you to your
machine specs and owning and operating
costs. Self-register on CPS Online and you
can order parts or technical manual CD-ROMs,
email your dealer, research part
specifications for non-John Deere equipment,
or access John Deere’s Global Vehicle
Communications system. Access through the
johndeere.com contractor’s or logger’s
Website.
GLOBAL VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS
If your fleet is frequently on the move, the
Global Vehicle Communications (GVC) system
is a great management tool. It gives you a
quick and accurate way to pinpoint the
location of your equipment. The GVC system
also monitors your machine hours, which lets
you track and manage the maintenance needs
and utilization of each machine. All this
information is available through the CPS
Online Website, which means you can oversee
your entire fleet without leaving your desk.
PARTS AVAILABILITY
Money starts flying out the window the
second your equipment goes down. That’s why
John Deere makes such a strong commitment to
parts availability and your bottom line.
It’s based on the idea that wear parts,
lubes, filters, and components that can be
replaced quickly will be waiting at your
dealership when you need them so you can get
back to work and make money.
REMANUFACTURED COMPONENTS
Get like-new performance for a fraction of
the price. Each transmission, axle, engine,
hydraulic pump, motor, cylinder, control
valve, rotary manifold, fuel-injector
nozzle, or directional control valve helps
avoid downtime if it’s installed before the
old component fails. Each unit is
remanufactured to the OEM’s specs with
certified parts. They’re tested for leaks
and performance, and backed by a
one-year/1,500 hour warranty for parts and
labor when dealer installed.
REPAIR PARTS FOR ALL MAKES OF EQUIPMENT
John Deere dealers feature one-stop parts
shopping for all makes of equipment. They
carry full lines of engine parts,
undercarriage, bucket teeth, cutting edges,
fluids, filters, lube products, hydraulic
hoses, batteries, remanufactured components,
mufflers, paint, tools, and much more. When
it comes to our customers and keeping them
up and running, John Deere doesn’t care
about logos.
PRE-OWNED COMPONENTS AND PARTS
We care about your productivity; that’s why
we offer a line of used and rebuilt
excavator and backhoe parts for used Cat,®
Komatsu, Kobelco, Koehring, Linkbelt, and of
course, John Deere to keep them running at a
minimum of expense.
Undercarriage, power transmissions, swing
bearings, control valves, engines,
cylinders, cabs, booms, arms, and lots more
are available at a savings of up to 50
percent. All parts and components are
cleaned, inspected, and restored to normal
usable condition. All pre-owned components
and parts carry a one-year/1,500 hour
warranty when dealer installed.
COMPONENT LIFE CYCLE
This gives you vital information on the
projected life span of components. That way
you can make informed decisions on machine
maintenance because you’ll know
approximately how many hours of use you can
expect from an engine, transmission, or
hydraulic pump. Replacing expensive
components before they fail is the best way
to control costs and reduce downtime. Very
