BEFORE-FAIL STRATEGY
There's nothing reactive about the Customer
Personal Service (CPS) philosophy of machine
maintenance. CSP is aggressively proactive
because it embraces a fix-before-fail
strategy.
Remanufactured components are a prime
example of how CPS-based strategy can help
you avoid downtime, save money, and reduce
stress. By replacing a major component
before it fails, you preempt catastrophic
downtime at a fraction of the cost of a new
component.
If you've ever experienced a major component
failure you know it's something to be
avoided at all costs. By replacing an
engine, transmission, or hydraulic pump
before it fails you preserve its value. For
example, an engine with a hole in its block
isn't worth much more than its weight in
scrap, but an engine in good working order
is worth several thousand dollars.
From a manager's perspective, remanufactured
components let you avoid stress. Instead of
catastrophic breakdowns, you can plan
service work around your schedule. Now,
you're in control!
MORE SOLUTIONS, MORE VALUE
The John Deere line of remanufactured
components is growing. Right now, we offer
transmissions for almost all John Deere
Loaders, C-Series Graders, G-Series
Skidders, 700 and 800 Series Dozers, and
H-Series Dozers. You can also get hydraulic
pumps and motors for most John Deere
excavators and feller-bunchers.
New remanufactured engines provide great
performance and value for a growing number
of John Deere excavators, loaders, dozers,
motor graders, scrapers, and
feller-bunchers.
And that's not all. Your John Deere dealer
can supply bucket cylinders, rotary
manifolds, and fuel injector nozzles. Ask
your Certified Customer Support Advisor
(CSA) for a complete list of remanufactured
components.
Remanufactured transmissions and a
disciplined approach to preventive
maintenance are all you need to keep your
John Deere loader going strong.
LOGOS DON'T MATTER WITH
REMANUFACTURED COMPONENTS
Another advantage of the remanufactured
components program is its neutral policy on
machine logos. Right now, there are
hydraulic pumps and motors for many Cat,
Komatsu, Kobelco, and Timberjack machines.
For all the facts on remanufactured
components, call your dealer CSA. Find out
how you can save time and money, plus get
great performance and a 1-year/1,500-hour
warranty for your non-John Deere machines.
JUST-LIKE-NEW PERFORMANCE
Remanufactured components are all made with
genuine manufacturer's parts. Some are new,
others are reconditioned to the
manufacturer's specifications. The process
begins with the complete disassembly and
cleaning of a used unit. Reusable parts are
inspected for damage, machined to OEM
specifications, and inspected again. Each
component is then carefully reassembled.
Stringent measurements and tests are
performed to ensure that all tolerances
conform to manufacturer's specs. br>
Plus, remanufactured components include many
of the latest design enhancements and
improvements. In many cases, a
remanufactured component performs better
than when it was new.
EEvery component is completely disassembled,
cleaned, and inspected. Then they're rebuilt
with used parts that are up to spec or new
parts and components.
EVERY UNIT IS PUT TO THE TEST
After assembly, components are subjected to
the same testing technology as new ones.
This break-in process ensures that every
unit meets OEM specifications. br>
Components are tested throughout their
entire working range for leaks and
performance.
CCores are fairly and efficiently evaluated
through the core-exchange program. You're
usually reimbursed within a week. Orders are
placed direct from your John Deere dealer to
one of our remanufacturing facilities. In
most cases, components arrive in one to
seven days.
A WARRANTY THAT'S WORRY-FREE
You get more than a receipt and a smile with
a remanufactured component. Also included is
a warranty that speaks volumes about its
value: When installed by a John Deere
dealer, you get one year/ 1,500 hours of
full-coverage - parts and labor. br>
In the construction business, controlling
costs and protecting profits is often a
balancing act - potential savings vs. risk.
With a warranty like this, remanufactured
components will make your efforts to manage
machine repair costs a hard act to follow.
